We're so proud of our Flagship, Premium Skincare with Actives Range, Feel (Good) Skin so we've put together a How To Use guide 💃
Depending on your skin type, you may have different areas of concern or different areas to target. Skincare isn't a one size fits all type of thing so we're here to simplify the process, provide you with a little guidance to help get your skin where you want it to be.
The first and most important thing to know is that Skincare with Actives should always be used in conjunction with a high factor SPF. If you have super sensitive skin, be careful with the frequency of use and type of actives you use.
With Aloe Vera as its active, the Cleansing Face Foam is super gentle and, as one of our customers called it, "smooth as silk". The Feel (Good) Skin Cleansing Face Foam can be used as a neutralising wash or simply as a cleanser. It can be used after washing with more abrasive actives like Glycolic Acid to neutralise skin as a secondary cleanse or as your primary cleanse. It is gentle enough to use twice a day.
This amazing cleanser contains Glycolic Acid which is a chemical exfoliator. Glycolic Acid assists in removing dead skin cells and promotes cell production and improves skin tone and texture.
Start off slowly, using once a week at night until you build up your tolerance. Glycolic Acid can make your skin a bit sensitive so be cautious when pairing it with other actives or exposing yourself to a lot of sun following use. If irritation occurs, this baby is not for your gentle skin so discontinue use.
Retinol is the words on everyone's lips at the moment. From assisting with premature and gentle aging, to reducing pore prominence and minimising breakouts, it is a super charged skincare active!
Just like Glycolic Acid, Retinol can be harsh on your skin so build up your tolerance to once to twice a week. Use the Feel (Good) Skin Retinol Serum at night as it can cause sun sensitivity (Psssst... and use that SPF 50 +)
Another skincare buzzword at the moment is Hyaluronic Acid and let me tell you, it's so popular for a really good reason! Hyaluronic Acid can hold 1000 times its own weight in liquid. When used on damp skin, it assists with lubricating skin leaving it plumper, dewier and generally yummy! The Feel (Good) Skin Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid, can be used both at night and in the morning on moist skin.
What exactly is a B.E.C. Serum? This powerhouse serum contains Vitamins B5, E and C so basically, it's a banana bag for your skin 😆
The Feel (Good) Skin B.E.C. Serum is an excellent skin conditioner assisting with gentle aging, toning, conditioning, moisturising and targeting hyperpigmentation.
Use at night and slowly build up tolerance to use 2-3 times a week.
This is a firm favourite among out clients. The Feel (Good) Skin Collagen Cream not only contains Collagen but also Niacinamide which assists in skin elasticity and firmness, hyperpigmentation, skin conditioning, hydration and radiance.
The Feel (Good) Skin Collagen Cream can be used both in the morning and at night. Apply the yummy goodness on your face, neck décolletage after you've used other serums for plumper, firmer looking skin.
What doesn't the Feel (Good) Skin Age Reverse Serum do? This powerful serum contains Matrixyl, Crolastin and Pentavitin. This is basically a fancy way of saying that the actives in this baby provide overall skin conditioning.
The Feel (Good) Skin Age Reverse Serum can be used every day is your skin allows but should be used at night.
The Feel (Good) Skin Omega Booster Serum contains Nano Lipobelle and Vitamin F.
This serum promotes barrier support and skin resilience by preventing loss of moisture while softening skin, optimising skins elasticity and assisting in gentle aging.
Use the Feel (Good) Skin Omega Booster Serum on a clean face, neck and décolletage, at night before moisturising. It can be used daily depending on skins sensitivity.
The Feel (Good) Skin Plant Stem Cell Serum can be used 2-3 times a week, at night, but slowly build up your skins tolerance and follow with a moisturiser.
One of the golden rules to using skincare with actives is to ensure that you reduce exposure to harmful UVA and UVB rays so try and stay out of direct sunlight. However, there are other ways your skin can get a little bit of a burn so it is a pretty good skincare tip to make use of a High Factor SPF whenever you can. We recommend using an SPF 50 or higher to protect your skin not only while making use of skincare with actives but also in general to limit sun damage which can lead to hyperpigmentation, premature aging and even melanoma.
🥂 Here's to making sure you Feel (Good) in your skin 😉
